How to Install gpsbabel-gui software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

gpsbabel-gui software package provides GPS file conversion plus transfer to/from GPS units - GUI, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gpsbabel-gui 

gpsbabel-gui is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gpsbabel-gui package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gpsbabel-gui *

You will get with gpsbabel-gui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
